Description
This beautiful cultivar of unknown origin originated in Australia. It has taken the frangipani (plumeria) world by storm.
We consider this cultivar to be the most beautiful of the lilac lavender frangipani cultivars other than JL Metallica.
Individually the flowers are not as impressive as Jacks purple, however, lilac clouds produces very large bunches of flowers, all over the tree, hence the name lilac clouds.
This cv is very similar to Indonesian violet but is superior and has a strong red eye in the center.
Like most of the lilac lavender colored frangipanis, Lilac clouds needs a lot of heat and humidity.
Otherwise the flowers can be a pale greyish pink/greyish white. Hence this cultivar looks its absolute best in the tropics.
