Description
A rare and striking Penang Peach seedling collected from Singapore approx. 30years ago by George Brown, then curator of the Darwin Botanical Gardens. The original very old tree in Singapore was recently visited and is only 2.5m tall.
Musk Rainbow is a compact semi dwarf 2m x 2m.
After years of uncertainty and debate, we have proven that Dwarf George Brown and Musk rainbow are the same variety.
The flowers emerge a very deep strong color.
As the flowers mature, they fade into a beautiful pink, tan annd pale purple colored flower.
Very rich crimson, purplish red colors. Unique amongst the fruitsalad /tri color types.
Excellent perfume, very beautiful.
