It has very smooth cylindrical leaves which are a much darker green than other types. The leaves stay straight/upright.
Faster growing, stays in tight bunches that don’t get as marked or diseased as other types.
Visitors to our nursery have mistaken the plants for big shallots.
A very neat and pretty plant, ideal for indoors, pots, understory plantings and garden borders.
